ProMAX Pro Fix
One-component polyurethane adhesive foam for the fixing of insulation boards and stone wool in the course of the thermal insulation of buildings. The foam adhesive has superior gluing and sealing qualities. Bonds well with most construction materials, except “Teflon”, polyethylene and silicon surfaces. Congealed adhesive is a good temperature and sound insulator. Keep congealed adhesive away from UV and sunlight. Fire class B2
The foam is applied by using a special gun. Ambient temperature should range from -5°C to +30°C. Temperature of the container should range from +5°C to +25 °C; best results can be achieved when the container temperature equals to +20°C. Adhesive foam bonds well with surfaces cleaned of dust, greases, loose plaster, etc, and such materials as concrete, bricks and plaster. The surface of congealed adhesive can be painted.
Make sure that the can is warm (+20°C) prior to use. Substrate should be moistened as the foam expands due to the moisture. A moistened surface ensures better results. If you have attached the container with a foam gun, shake the product well before use. Apply adhesive foam on an insulation panel evenly on the perimeter (3-4 cm from the edge), apply one strip also on the centre of the panel’s surface parallel to its longest side (keep the distance between adhesive strips around 25cm). Wait approximately 2 minutes after applying the foam adhesive, then press the panel against the wall. The surface of attached polystyrene foam panels can be further levelled within 5 minutes from installation. Use installation fixtures when working with balcony ceilings or long lintels...
